Glenna Mae West, 83, of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at St. Francis Home in Tiffin.
Glenna was born December 7, 1940 in Jerry City, Ohio to the late Glenn and Kathryn (McIntyre) Chaffee. She married George Fredrick West on July 2, 1960. Together they had two sons, Anthony “Tony” and George “Scott” Jr. West.
She retired from Ameriwood in 2000 after many years of service. She was a member of Fort Seneca Community Church. She enjoyed arts and crafts, participating in church activities, taking car rides, and spending time with her family.
Those preceding her in death include her husband, George, son, George Jr., sister, Nancy Kirchner, brothers, Richard Chaffee and Benjamin Chaffee, and nephew, Caleb Perin.
She is survived by her son, Anthony (Dian), sisters, Marilyn Ann Martin and Deborah Sue (Doyle) Magers, brother, Glenn “Sie” (Cheryl) Chaffee, sister-in-law, Jean Ann (Benjamin) Chaffee, daughter-in-law, Kelly (George) West, and grandchildren, Zachary West, Travis West, Justin West, Scott West, Ashley (Devin) Black, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin, on Monday, March 25, 2024 at 10:00 a.m., until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Seneca Memory Gardens. A luncheon will follow at Fort Seneca Community Church.
