Greg Alan Bish, 54, of Tiffin, passed away at 2:19 a.m., Saturday, May 29, 2021 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay. He put up a Warriors Battle for five years with cancer.
Greg was born on September 20, 1966 in Tiffin, to Charles (Sandy) Bish of Tiffin and Sandra (Ronald) Brendle of New Riegel.
He graduated from Columbian High School in 1985 where he excelled in Wrestling, taking 5th in the State of Ohio in his senior year.
After High School, Greg began his lifelong roofing career with M.J. Brown. In 1992 he left Tiffin on his beloved Full Dressed Yamaha motorcycle and traveled to Alaska, He lived in Anchorage and later moved to Fairbanks where he made his home until moving back to Tiffin in 2016. While in Alaska Greg was a Heavy Equipment/Crane operator for A&A Industrial Roofing and was able to travel all over that beautiful state working in many cities and villages.
Greg's adventures took him to Hawaii, Austria and Brazil. He enjoyed hunting Bear, Caribou, Moose and Dall Sheep, fishing for Halibut and Salmon and camping especially his favorite camp site on the cliffs of South Bass Campgrounds and he loved his winters at the Florida Beaches. He had been a member of the Eagles Club and the Moose Club in Tiffin.
Greg was preceded in death by his grandparents; Carl and Margaret Bish and Richard and Blanche Walk.
Greg is survived by his parents, two brothers, Jeffery and Robert (Angie) Bish both of Tiffin, step-brothers, Gregory (Vicki) Brendle, of Suffolk, VA and Kenny Maag of Tiffin, step-sisters, Michele Maag of Tiffin and Christina (Victor) Harvey of Macclenny, FL, nephews, Joseph Bish of Tiffin and Andrew (Alyssa) Bish of Republic, nieces, Valerie (Rudi) Feasel and Stephanie Johnson both of Tiffin, several grand-nieces and grand-nephews, many uncles, aunts and cousins.
According to Greg's wishes there will be no visitation and a private family burial will be held at St. Mary's Catholic cemetery. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
