Gregg Hayes Obituary

Gregg A. Hayes, 57, of Fostoria, passed away peacefully at home on September 26, 2020. He was born on March 1, 1963 to the late James & Betty Hayes in Tiffin.

Gregg is survived by his two daughters, Holly (Sammy) Crowe and Maxine Hayes, a step-daughter, Carmen (Craig) Agerter, five step-sons, Michael Crowe, Anthony Crowe, Michael Young, Craig (Angela) Young, and Stephen Busack. He is also survived by two brothers, Todd Hayes, and Michael (Patti) Hayes, and many nieces and nephews who meant the world to him.

Gregg was preceded in death by his daughter, Ashley, father, James Hayes, mother, Betty Hayes, Brother James “Hazel” Hayes, two sisters, Barb Kopp, and Karen Joseph, and a great-niece Vivian Ward, and many aunts and uncles.

Gregg graduated from Hudson High School. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, being on the boat and spending time outdoors with family and friends. He was an amazing, caring fire cracker of a man and was loved by anyone who knew him. Gregg always had great words of wisdom and would give up anything he had to help someone else.

A memorial service for Greg will be held on Friday, September 4, 2020, at the Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin with Pastor Rex King officiating. There will be no visitation or burial at this time.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
