Helen Margaret Hutchins

Helen Margaret Hutchins, 102, of Tiffin, passed away at 7:10 p.m., Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Good Shepherd Home in Fostoria.

Helen was born November 21, 1920, in Marshalltown, Iowa, to the late John and Katherine (Boltres) Nierescher. She married James Paul Hutchins in Laurel, Mississippi on April 5, 1941 and he preceded her in death on July 24, 1964.

Survivors include her children, James Paul Jr. Hutchins Jr. of Tiffin, Charles Edward (Vera) Hutchins of Casa Grande, Arizona, Richard Frances (Leslie) Hutchins of Plantation, Florida, Cynthia Ann (Bill) Frankart of Alvada, five grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Helen worked at Tiffin Mercy Hospital. She enjoyed swimming, play cards, hiking and just being out in nature. Helen was a 1938 graduate of Fostoria High School.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband and eight siblings.

There will be no funeral services held for Helen. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
