James Franklin Harding, 72, of Tiffin, passed away at 1:53 p.m., Friday, July 26, 2022 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo.
James was born April 28, 1950, in Tiffin, to the late Clariden “Pick” and Grace Beth (Ashburn) Harding. He married Kathy (Rogers) in Tiffin on November 15, 2001 and she preceded him in death.
Survivors include his children, Allyson Harding of Tiffin and Lorie Rohe of Sycamore, Kim Drake of Delaware and Shawn Rogers of Tiffin, eight grandchildren, Alyssa, Madison, Noah, Harrison, Creston, Tyler, Vincent and Tristan and a two great-grandchildren, Annalyn and Jocelyn.
James worked as an Engineer and was a life member of the Tiffin Elks club and enjoyed photography and spending time with his family. James earned a Bachelor's of Science in Engineering from Case Western Reserve University with his major field being Metallurgy and Materials Science.
James was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John Harding.
There will be a Celebration of James's life held on Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 4-9 p.m., at the Clover Club. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
