James Hughes

James Hughes, 63, of Mulberry, FL, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024 at Mercy Health – Tiffin Hospital.

James was born July 12, 1961, in Jersey City, New Jersey, to James Hughes and Bernadette (Stanley) Butler. He married Marion (May) Hughes in Thompson Park, New Jersey, on August 20, 1988 and she survives in Florida.

Other survivors include his mother, Bernadette Butler of Florida, a son, James (Marcella) Hughes of Tiffin, two grandchildren, Magdalene and James Hughes both of Tiffin, two sisters, Bernadette Guttman of Orlando, FL and Denise Aten of Florida and two brothers, Kevin and Barney Hughes both of Florida.

James was a retired maintenance worker and a member of The Salvation Army.

There will be no services held at this time. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
