James D. Morrow, 85, of Mount Juliet, TN and formerly of Tiffin, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
James was born June 9, 1938, in Worley, KY, to the late Mitt Elmer and Ollie (Strunk) Morrow. He married Zola Lucille (Evans) in Tiffin and she preceded him in death and he later married, Alice (Ashley) Morrow and she survives in North Port, Fl.
Other survivors include his children, Rhonda (Daniel) Musgrave of New Riegel, Belinda Morrow of Mt. Juliet, TN and James Dean (Cindy) Morrow Jr. of Fountain, CO, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, two brothers, Tulie Morrow and Lanny Morrow both of Tiffin, two sisters, Betty Walker of Gibsonburg and Janet Dunn of Tiffin.
James retired from Textron in Fostoria after 24 years of hard work and dedication and was a member of the Tiffin Freewill Baptist Church. James was a United States Army Veteran and a lifelong musician.
James was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Zola (Evans) Morrow, three brothers, two sisters and a grandson, Christopher Culver.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin on Friday, September 8, 2023 from 4-7 p.m. Funeral services will be on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 11:30 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will follow the funeral services on Saturday, at Seneca Memory Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Association or Lewy Body Dementia Fund.
