Obituary
Jane Gurney, 78, of Attica, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at St. Vincent Medical Mercy Center in Toledo.
Jane was born in Willard, OH, on February 20, 1945 to the late Donald J. and Mildred (Rinker) Snay. She married Gary Gurney in West Independence, on November 14, 1964 and he survives in Attica.
Other survivors include a son, Eric Gurney and a daughter, Krista Phillips both of Attica, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Jane worked in childcare for most of her working life and was a member of the Union Pisgah Church.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, LaDonna Jones and Karen Poth.
Graveside services for Jane will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Attica Venice cemetery. There will be no visitation held at this time. The Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville is assisting the family with their arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Seneca East Public Library.
