Jerry R. Morris

Jerry R. Morris, 86, of Tiffin, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus.

Jerry was born September 9, 1938, in Tiffin, to the late Lawrence and Winifred (Piper) Morris. He married Rosemary (Lawrence) in Tiffin on May 19, 1979 and she survives in Tiffin.

Other survivors include his children, Cathy Morris of Tiffin, Barry (Donna) Morris of Cleveland, Brian Morris of Hartland, MI, Bruce (Julie) Morris of Daytona Beach, FL and Brian Courtney of Tiffin, nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a sister, Beverly Mestrey of Tiffin.

Jerry retired from Columbia Gas and also was a retired River Pilot on the Colorado River. He was a United States Army Veteran and was a member of the Tiffin VFW and enjoyed gardening, fishing and playing cards. Jerry was a 1956 graduate of Tiffin Columbian and also attended Tiffin University for two years.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Vicki Noller.

Per Jerry’s wishes there will be no services held at this time. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
