JoAnn Merryfield

JoAnn Merryfield, 70, of Tiffin, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Mercy Health – Tiffin Hospital.

JoAnn was born August 20, 1954, in Elyria, OH, to the late Hugh and Joan (Davis) Huffman. She married John Merryfield in Tiffin on April 18, 1995 and he survives in Tiffin.

Other survivors include her daughter, Celeste (Bryan) Tuttle of Tiffin, three step-children, John M. Merryfield of Tiffin, Matthew L. Merryfield, Samantha L. Smith both of Virginia, three grandchildren, Sean (Petra) Jackson Jr. of Los Angeles, CA, Adalia Jackson of Tiffin, Jasmin Jackson of Columbus and a great-grandson, Avery Jackson of Tiffin.

JoAnn worked at Wal-Mart for thirty-four years and was a 1972 graduate of Elyria High School. She loved all animals especially her cats.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and two sisters.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 2-4 p.m., Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin. There will be no funeral service or burial held at this time.
