John Tschanen Obituary

John W. Tschanen, 84, of Tiffin, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2020 at the Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center in Tiffin.

John was born in Upper Sandusky, on September 11, 1934, to the late George and Agnes (Benow) Tschanen. He married Nancy (Hon) in Bascom on February 8, 1974 and she survives.

John is survived by his wife, Nancy Tschanen of Tiffin, two sons, Steve Tschanen of Bascom, George Tschanen of Shelby, two step-children, Tom Wisenburger of Tiffin and Craig Wisenburger of Florida, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

John was preceded in death by his parents, a step-daughter, Karen Wisenburger and two sisters, Sara and Martha.

John worked as a Millwright at Heinz in Fremont and was an Upper Sandusky High School graduate.

There will private family graveside service held at Greenlawn cemetery. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
