Joyce M. Morrow, 89, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2023, at her residence.
Joyce was born in Smithtown, KY on February 2, 1934, to the late Charles and Elizabeth (Black) Hickman. She married Rev. Klingman Morrow in Jelico, TN on October 15, 1951 and he preceded her in death on July 28, 2018.
Survivors include her children, Dessie (Joe) Swankhouse of Tiffin, Berniece Brown of Clyde, Sheila (Jerome) Alt of Kansas, Tony (Helen) Morrow of Clyde and Samuel Morrow of Tiffin, ten grandchildren, Michelle, Matthew, Kimberly, Shawn, Brian, Julia, Amanda, Amber, Kirt, Kendra and numerous great-grandchildren. She was also survived by four sisters, Ruby Yancey of Whitley City, KY, Brenda Hornback of Butler, KY, Lenna Dykes of Guilford, IN and Glenna Tyree of Tiffin.
Joyce was an avid bird watcher. She enjoyed gardening and growing flowers and was a great cook. Joyce sang in the S&M Quartet for local churches.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, husband, six brothers, Hubert, Ruben, Hobert, Philip, Kenneth and John Hickman, four sisters, Anna Owens, Lois Iseral, Phillis Hickman and Elvaree Gentry.
There will be a Celebration of Joyce’s Life held at a later date. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
