Kathryn M. Barger

Kathryn M. Barger, 83, of New Riegel, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at Good Shepherd Home in Fostoria.

Kathryn was born April 24, 1941, in Fostoria, to the late Raymond G. and Esther M. (Wagner) Hark. She married Richard F. Barger in New Riegel on January 20, 1962 and he preceded her in death on October 31, 2019.

Survivors include her son, Richard J. Barger of San Jose, CA, daughter, Cynthia R. (Randy) Feathers of Fostoria, four grandchildren, Cody, Colton, Amanda and Theresa, two great-grandchildren on the way, a brother, Michael Hark of Elida, two sisters, Rosemary Nye of Alvada and Carolyn Loudenslager of Sycamore.

Kathryn was a homemaker and a member of All Saints Parish in New Riegel. She enjoyed shopping, antiquing and traveling with Richard.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Christopher C. Barger and a sister, Jeanann Kin.

Funeral services for Kathryn will be held at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin. Visitation for family and friends will also be held on Tuesday, from 10:00 a.m., until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services on Tuesday, at Seneca Memory Gardens in Tiffin.
