Kenneth R. Emahiser, 75, of Fostoria, passed away Friday, August 2, 2024 at his residence.
Kenneth was born February 17, 1949, in Findlay, to the late Charles and Mary (Moon) Emahiser. He married Shirley (Goodin) in Honeybee, KY on September 9, 1967 and she preceded him in death on April 15, 2023.
Survivors include his children, Kenneth E. Emahiser, Christopher A. Emahiser, Brenda (Shaun Carley) Emahiser-Kreh, Stewart (Lisa) Emahiser, Kimberly (Richard) Molter, Tracy (Michael) Sheets all of Fostoria, thirteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, a brother, Dennis (Lucille) Emahiser of Fremont, a half-brother, Charles Patrick of West Virginia, and a half-sister, April Swartz of Colorado.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a granddaughter, Angel Emahiser-Hutchins, a great-grandson, Luka Kreh, three brothers, Rodrick “Sonnie”, Michael and Larry Emahiser, and two sisters, Eileen Reamsynder, Carolyn Goodin and twin siblings Roberta and Raymond Emahiser.
Kenneth was retired from General Dynamics. He enjoyed camping, fishing, spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Kenneth loved to feed the squirrels and birds or as he would say his friends.
Funeral services for Kenneth will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville, with Brother Harrold Goodin officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, from 4-7 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services on Wednesday, at Woodlawn cemetery.
