Kenneth Edward Kizer, 44 of Tiffin, passed away Friday, October 4, 2024 at his home in Tiffin.
Kenny was born March 18, 1980 to Emily and the late William Kizer.
Kenny is survived by his children, Nathan Kizer of Pennsylvania and Kennedy and Mercedes Kizer both of Tiffin. Also surviving are his mother, Emily, and siblings, Joe (Andrea) Kizer of Perrysburg and Jenna (Nick) Beard of New Riegel. Kenny was also a proud uncle of three nephews and one niece, Garett Kizer and Mason Csortos of Perrysburg, and Jameson Beard and Caroline Beard of New Riegel.
Kenny was a United States Navy Veteran serving on the U.S.S. Dwight D. Eisenhower. He loved his country and loved serving with his fellow men and women. Most recently Kenny was getting various certifications to become a behavioral health tech helping those struggling with addiction. He loved football and was an avid Browns and Wolverines fan and wasn't even mad if you poked a joke or two about it. Kenny was a loving father who strived every day to make some change in the world. He truly was a friend to all.
There will be a private family graveside service held at Pleasant Union cemetery in Old Fort. There will also be a time to share memories and food on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from noon until 3:00 p.m., at Old Fort Church. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
