Kevin L. Bohrer

Kevin L. Bohrer, 65, of Tiffin, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2020 at his residence, surrounded by his family.

Kevin was born on November 16, 1954, to Raymond H. Jr. and Doris Brickner Bohrer. He married Wanda E. (Goetz) in Tiffin at St. John's United Church of Christ on November 16, 1974 and she survives.

Kevin is also survived by his mother, his daughters, Kathleen E. (David) Pool, APRN-CNM of Tiffin, Jennifer A. (Denny Kidwell) Bohrer of Tiffin, six grandsons, Justin, Andrew, Zachary and Corey Pool and Ryker and Slone Kidwell.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father, three brothers, Raymond H. Bohrer III, Bruce B. Bohrer and Brian C. Bohrer.

Kevin was retired and a former Credit Manager, Painter/Wallpaper hanger and an Exotic Bird Breeder. He was a 1973 graduate of Mohawk High School where he played basketball, and obtained his Eagle Scout rank.  He was also a 1978 graduate of Heidelberg College where he was a member of the Excelsior Men’s Society. Kevin was a member of the St. John's United Church of Christ.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially looking forward to family gatherings, and also traveling to all of his grandsons’ academic, music, theater and sporting events.

Funeral services for Kevin will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at the Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin with Pastor Paul Stark officiating. Visitation for family and friends will also be held on Saturday, from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home. We will be following all CDC guidelines for social gatherings.  Burial will follow the services at Greenlawn Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. John's United Church of Christ or to the Seneca County Humane Society.
