Leona J. Carlin

Leona J. Carlin, 69, of Tiffin, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Mercy Health – Tiffin Hospital.

Leona was born on October 13, 1954 in Tiffin to the late Thomas F. and Imogene (Updike) Boyd. She married Thomas C. Carlin in Elyria, OH on October 13, 1982. 

Survivors include her husband, Thomas C. Carlin of Tiffin, a sister, Mary Jane Daughenbaugh of Troy, OH, four nephews, Mark (Vivian) Daughenbaugh, David (Michele Sherman) Daughenbaugh, Tom (Anita) Boyd and Michael (Tracy) Boyd, two nieces, Deb (Steve) Wise and Heather (Chad) Howard.

Leona was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, George, Chuck and Ted Boyd, sister, Margaret Ann Biller and a nephew, Ed Daughenbaugh.

Leona worked in production and customer service most of her life. She was a member of First Baptist Church and enjoyed reading, working outside and taking care of her family. Leona was a 1972 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School.

Graveside services for Leona will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Woodlawn cemetery in Bloomville. The Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville is assisting the family with their arrangements.
