Leslie H. Myers, 85, of Tiffin, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Mercy Health – Tiffin Hospital.
Leslie was born on January 12, 1939 in Fremont to the late Howard L. and Evelyn Ida (Wales) Myers. He married Mary (Heilman) in Tiffin on October 10, 1959 and they later divorced and she preceded him in death.
Survivors include his children, Leslie Henry (Suzanne) Myers II of Olathe, KS, Faith Renee Armstrong of Tiffin, Tracilu (Brian) Gillig of Tiffin, Joseph T. (Labett) Kemp of Arecibo, Puerto Rico, Jude Ann (Tim) Hampshire of Pataskala and Jennifer Lynn (Dennis) Patterson of Reynoldsburg, seventeen grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, two brothers, Howard M. Myers and Bill Beckford both of Tiffin, two sisters, Marianne (Edmond) Hanes of Georgia and Karen Myers of Tiffin.
Leslie retired from Sterling Grinding Wheel after 29 years and also was a United States Army Veteran of 22 years. He was a member of Salvation Army, Amvets, Tiffin Eagles and a life member of DAV.
Leslie was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Edith Nelson and Cathy Windsor.
Funeral services for Leslie will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 22, 2024 at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin. Visitation for family and friends will also be held on Monday, from 10:00 a.m., until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services on Monday, at Seneca Memory Gardens with military rites being rendered by United Veterans Council.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Salvation Army.
