Linda Kay Woodland, 61, of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Mercy Tiffin Hospital where the heavens gained a new angel.
Linda was born in Fostoria, on April 29, 1959 to the late Jimmy Gene and Lillian Carol (Wells) Woodland.
Linda is survived by her friend and housemate of 20 years, Amber Herbert of Tiffin, her five godchildren that she helped raise as her own, MaKaylah, MaKennah, Malachi, Quynn and India Herbert all of Tiffin, two brothers, John Paul (Sheri) Woodland of Ada and Jimmie Woodland Jr. of North Baltimore and many nephews.
Linda is now reuniting with her mother and father who she missed so very much.
Linda was the most amazing journalist and artist around. She was the Editor of the Fostoria Review Times for 31 years. Although a less than average life span, Linda did not live an "average life". Linda wore many hats, Journalist, photographer, editor, peacemaker, foster mom to almost 30 kids. God mother to 5 kids who loved her dearly. She was an associate of the Sisters of Saint Francis in Tiffin. Linda was also a best friend, sister, cheerleader, life coach and her heart and home were always open to anyone in need.
A memorial service for Linda will be held at a later date. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements. There will be no visitation or burial held at this time.
