Loren Lee Baker, 89, of North Canton, Ohio, formerly of Willard, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2026 at Danbury Massillon Assisted Living.
Loren was born in Sherwood, Ohio, on January 4, 1937, to the late Charles and Pearl (Schliesser) Baker. He married Phyllis Ann (Ritz) Baker in Attica on May 20, 1962 and she preceded him in death on January 5, 2024.
Survivors include his daughter, Jacqueline (Brian) Bachtel of North Canton, Ohio, and two grandchildren, Gabrielle and Garrett.
Loren worked as a transportation manager at MTD and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Willard and St. Stephen Martyr in North Canton. He was also a member of the American Legion and the Elks Lodge. Loren proudly served in the United States Army and was stationed at Ft. Knox.
In addition to his parents and wife, Loren was preceded in death by his siblings, Rex, Ray, Royce, Kenneth, Freddy, Evelyn, Mable, Freda and Fonda.
Private family services will be held at Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville. Burial will also be private at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Willard.
