Louis J. Grieselding

Louis J. Grieselding, 84, of Tiffin, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at Autumnwood Care Center in Tiffin.

Louis was born February 5, 1942, in Tiffin, to the late John and Zada (Creeger) Grieselding. He married Mary Ellen (Stuckert) at St. Mary Catholic Church in Tiffin on May 9, 1964 and she survives in Tiffin.

Also surviving are his children, Patricia (Jeffrey) Miller of Tiffin, Barbara (Sean) Dornan of Bucyrus, Scott Grieselding of Fostoria, nine grandchildren, Samantha Miller, Elizabeth (Joe Heabler) Miller, Alexis (Patrick) Faber, Anthony (Andrea) King, Marcus (Kaitlin) King, Raven (Alex) Van Gundy, Briana, Halee and Erin Grieselding, three great-grandchildren, Yoona and Faye Van Gundy, and Julia King and a brother, Mike (Mary) Grieselding of Findlay.

Louis retired from Coppus Motors as an Accountant. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and enjoyed playing golf at Clinton Heights Golf Course. Louis was an avid Cleveland Browns and Indians fan along with an avid Ohio State fan. He was a 1960 graduate of Calvert High School and a United States Air Force Veteran.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Matthew Rader officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 30 minutes prior to the service at the church. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, from 4-6 p.m., at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin. Burial will follow the services on Tuesday; at St. Mary cemetery with Military Rites being rendered by the United Veterans Council.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
