Lowell “Ike” Eisenhour, 89, of Burgoon, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021 at his residence.
Ike was born on May 31, 1931 to the late Edward and Ruth (Spitler) Eisenhour. He married Reba (Warf) and she preceded him in death.
Ike is survived by three children, John (Cheryl) Eisenhour of Texas, Jean Eisenhour of Athens, Greece, and Carol (Bob) Bowles of Woodville, eleven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and a sister, Twila Schroeder of Bradner.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, step-daughter, Bonnie Eisenhour, and a grandson, Jason Makry.
Ike served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion. Ike loved collecting coins and playing the lottery. He always looked forward to family cookouts in the summer and loved spending quality time with those that attended.
Per his request, there will be no services for Ike at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home and Crematory in Bettsville is assisting the family with their arrangements.
