Manson Dazey Obituary

Manson Layne Dazey, 4, of Republic, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at 10:30 a.m., at Tiffin Mercy Hospital.

Manson was born on July 3, 2016, to Abigail A. Dazey of Republic (Daniel Handshoe) also of Republic.

Manson is survived by his sister, Mavey Simone Handshoe of Republic and a baby brother "Layne Handshoe" coming in January. His is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Angelo (Robyn) Anese of Tiffin, maternal great-grandparents, Robert (Ellen) Bland of Tiffin, Shirley Anese of Tiffin, aunt and uncles, Brianna Hroneck, Kaelyn Hroneck, Diamond Anese, Nathaniel Anese, Angelo Anese II and all of his cousins. Paternal grandparents, Dave (Lisa) Handshoe of Republic, paternal great-grandparents, Jim (Cindy) Voorhees of Republic, paternal great-great-grandparents, Richard (Mardelle) Barrell of Republic and aunts, Alyssa Bish and Brianne Mangus.

Manson was a member of the New Beginnings Assembly of God Church in Tiffin. He enjoyed fishing, coloring, painting, baking, listening to music playing with his race cars and trucks, riding his bike and taking care of his animals. Manson just loved playing with his sister, cousins and spending time with his Mawmaw's and Pawpaw's and Papa's and will be remembered by all whoever met him.

Manson was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfather, Tony Anese, maternal great-grandmother, Joanne Bland, paternal great-grandparents, Vince (Carrie) Handshoe and a cousin, Matthew Conley.

Funeral services for Manson will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at the New Beginnings Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Rex King officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, October 19, 2020 from 4-7 p.m., at the Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin and on Tuesday, from 10-11 a.m., at the church. There will be no burial held at this time.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital or to the Pioneer Club at New Beginnings Assembly of God.
