Marcella Z. Flack, 97, of Bloomville, passed away at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky.
Marcella was born July 12, 1924, in Bloomville, to the late Earl R. Sr. and Grace L. (Kagy) Zellner. She married Robert E. Flack in Virginia on November 5, 1947 and he preceded her in death on August 28, 2001.
Survivors include her two daughters, Kathy (Dennis) Strausbaugh of Republic, Janice (Kenneth) Sayre of Bloomville, two grandchildren, Nicole (Dustin) Bischoff, Aaron (Hope) Strausbaugh, two great-grandchildren, Tucker and Weston Bischoff and a sister, Doris J. Miller of Tiffin.
Marcella worked in banking and later retired from Kiwanis Manor. She was a member of Republic United Church of Christ, the Eastern Stars for over 70 years and a former member of the ladies Auxiliary at Bloomville American Legion. Marcella was a 1942 graduate of Bloomville High School.
Marcella was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Earl R. Zellner Jr., and her lifelong pen pal Marcella "Zellner" Drab.
Funeral Services for Marcella will be held Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Republic United Church of Christ at 11:15 am. Burial will be held Monday, November 1, 2021 at 10:00 am at Woodlawn cemetery in Bloomville. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
