Margaret L Halcomb

Margaret L. Halcomb, 85, of Tiffin, passed away at 10:05 p.m., Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at her daughter’s home in Norwalk.

Margaret was born on June 8, 1935 in Republic, to the late Harold L. and Hazel L. (Reninger) Peck Sr. She married Max Mesnard and they later divorced.

Survivors include her children, Michael (Janet) Mesnard Sr. of Maryville, TN, Cheryl Mesnard of Norwalk, Diana Mesnard of Tiffin, Dana (Ginny) Mesnard of Westerville, Randall (Mindy) Mesnard of Marysville and Eva Noftz of Norwalk, five grandchildren, Michael, Tyler, Clay, Jessica and Nick, ten great-grandchildren, Michael, Alyssa, Brooke, Karis, Jace, Claire, Max, Lucy, Olivia and Miles, a brother, James Peck of Florida, two sisters, Edith (Ron) Bogner and Virginia (Dick) Case both of Tiffin.

Margaret was a homemaker but worked a lot of different jobs throughout her life including, Jolly's, Mary & John's, Tiffin Glass House and Hayes Albion. Margaret was the former president of Mothers of Twins of Ohio and was an honorary member of the Tiffin AmVets.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, two grandsons, Michael Jr. and Matthew Mesnard, three brothers, Harold, Frederick and John Peck and a sister, Mary Jane Nighswander.

Funeral services for Margaret will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, March 15, 2021, at the Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville. Visitation for family and friends will also be held on Monday, from 10:30 until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be follow the services on Monday, at Seneca Memory Gardens.
