Margaret Mae Schwab

Margaret M. Schwab, 92, of Merritt Island, Florida and former Caroline, Ohio resident passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023, at Norwood Assisted Living in Merritt Island, Florida.

Margaret was born on September 12, 1931, in Eden Twp., Seneca County, Ohio to the late Elmer and Inez (Fretz) Frankenfield. Margaret attended Columbian High School and retired from General Electric in Tiffin. She and her late husband, Gordon enjoyed boating and fishing on Lake Erie, antique collecting, raising produce and wintering in Florida.

Margaret is survived by three sons, Gordon E. Schwab Jr. of Willard, Gary V. Schwab of Attica and Gerald L. Schwab Sr. of Merritt Island, FL; four grandsons, Matthew, Gregory, Gerald Jr. and Cory Schwab; three granddaughters, Jaclyn Bajrami, Amanda Nelson and Kristina Walker and numerous great grandchildren; her sister, Mary Houdeshell of Tiffin and two step-daughters, Juanita Volkmer and Joanna Vaughn.

In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon L. Schwab in 1996.

Visitation will be held at the Lindsay-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville, on Monday, December 4, 2023, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., with burial to follow in Attica-Venice Cemetery, Attica.
