Marguerite D. Outcalt, 83, of Tiffin passed away at The Laurels of West Columbus, Ohio on Wednesday January 21, 2026. She was born April 23, 1942, in Batesville, Indiana, the daughter of Raymond and Elizabeth Bruns. Margy graduated from Springfield Township High School in Indiana. She then attended Weaver Airline School in Kansas City, MO.
Margy married, Fred Outcalt on August 1,1964 at St. Mary’s Catholic church Oxford, Ohio. She was employed as a Pixie at JCPenney Photography division. For many years, she worked as a bank teller in Bellefontaine, Ohio and concluded her banking career in Tiffin.
Margy loved Allen Eiry Senior Center where she enjoyed cards, corn hole, trips and amazing friends. She had many friends in the Silver Sneakers Program at Body Works Fitness. She also attended St. Joseph Catholic Church, enjoyed the annual church festival and volunteered in the school cafeteria.
Margy is survived by her husband, Fred Outcalt, Tiffin; daughters, Michelle (Rich) Breitfeller, Grove City; Kelly (Mark) Hershiser, Villages, Florida and Kristy (Mark) Schuyler, Grove City; grandchildren, Nathan (Madeline) Hershiser, Shane (Cambry) Hershiser, Kyle Hershiser, Nicholas Schuyler and great grandchild; Tate Hershiser (son of Nathan/Madeline).
She was preceded in death by her parents; Raymond and Elizabeth Bruns. She is survived by her siblings, Marilyn Crooke, Gary (Pam) Bruns and Alan (Mary) Bruns. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Linda (Mick) Fields and was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law, Steve Outcalt, J. Mikal Outcalt, and B. Lynn Crooke.
A celebration of life will be planned for the spring 2026, details will be announced at a later date. Memorials can be made to Allen Eiry Senior Center or the Salvation Army.
