Marjorie Fetzer Obituary

Marjorie Belle Fetzer, 98, of Tiffin, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at St. Francis Home in Tiffin.

Marjorie was born on November 27, 1921, to the late Homer H. and Fannie Elizabeth (Brill) Beeler. She first married Charles Fetzer and they later divorced and she married Jack Winter who preceded her in death.

Marjorie is survived by her children, Larry (Connie) Fetzer of Elgin, TX, Linda (John  Kinney) Craig of Katy, TX, Elizabeth "Betsy" (Eric) Chisholm of Traverse City, MI, son-in-law, Denny Sowards of Tiffin, daughter-in-law, Janice Fetzer of Camden, OH sixteen grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren, thirteen grandchildren-in-law and a brother, Robert Beeler of Findlay.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, Ronald and Dennis Fetzer, daughter, Carol Sowards, a step-son, Bruce Winter, two brothers, Ross and Bill Beeler, three sisters, Mildred Carr, Helen Stinchcomb and Dorothy Ziegler.

Marjorie retired from Eckrich as a maintenance attendant after more than 20 years with the company. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary in New Riegel and enjoyed cooking and playing cards. Marjorie was a 1939 graduate of Melmore High School.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at All Saints Parish in New Riegel with the Rev. Timothy Kummerer officiating. Visitation for family and friends will also be held on Wednesday, from 10:00 a.m., until the time of the service at the church. Burial will follow the services on Wednesday, at St. Boniface cemetery. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Huntington's Disease Society of America, www.hdsa.org or to a charity of the donor's choice. The Mass of Christian Burial will be live streamed on the parish website, www.allsaints-parish.com and also on the New Riegel All Saints Facebook page.
