Marlene Anne Beat

Marlene Anne Beat, 69, of Attica, and former Avon Lake resident, passed away Saturday morning November 26, 2022, at the home of her brother Gregory Beat in Attica.

She was born November 17, 1953 in Fostoria, to Harold and Mercedes (Graber) Beat.

Survivors include two brothers, Gregory (Opal) Beat and Mark (Cindy) Beat both of Attica; two sisters, Charlene (Fred) Bono of Arizona, and Christine (Richard) Hillman of Texas; sister in-in-law, Delores Beat of Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

 Marlene was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Jeff and Anthony Beat.

Marlene was a retired physical therapist for the Mercy System in Avon. She was a 1971 graduate of Seneca East High School and a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Attica. She loved baking, traveling, and spoiling her nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass and Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Burial will take place at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Attica.
