Mary F. Rice

Mary F. Rice, 88, of Bloomville, passed away at 4:49 p.m., Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at her residence.

Mary was born in Bloomville, on December 17, 1932, to the late Roy and Lola (Bowerman) Blaser.

Survivors include her children, Chris (Tina) Rice of Bloomville, Martin J. Rice of Toledo and Julie (Dennis) Kochel of New Washington, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson and a brother, Jon (Connie) Blaser of Bloomville.

Mary retired from General Electric and was a member of the Bloomville UCC Church. Mary enjoyed cooking and was a 1950 graduate of Bloomville High School.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Jim and Paul Blaser and a sister, Martha Edeburn.

There will be a memorial service held for Mary at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 6, 2021 at the Bloomville United Church of Christ with Pastor Tom Kagy officiating. The Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville is assisting the family with their arrangements.
