Melody S. Woessner, 68, of Tiffin, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her family.
Melody was born June 19, 1956, in Tiffin, to the late Vincent and Eleanor (Fitzgerald) Arnold. She married Rex A. Woessner in Tiffin on January 1, 1981 and he survives in Tiffin.
Other survivors include her children, Chad (Sarah) Woessner, Tyson (Missy) Woessner, Amber (Josh) Crow all of Tiffin, seven grandchildren, Makaila (Levy), Alixandra, Wyatt, Jamison, Izaac, Abriella, Ceillia. Also surviving are two brothers, John (Judy) Arnold, Gary (Sandy) Arnold both of Tiffin, three sisters, Diana (John) Patterson of Old Fort, Denise (Steve) Lawson of Bloomville and Jill (Ken) Kubasek of Mansfield.
Melody was retired as Office Manager for Schubach Chiropractic and also worked at Heidelberg University and the Arnold Vending family business. She was a very active member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church where she was a former Bible School Teacher and was in charge of the Youth Club for many years. Melody truly enjoyed watching her grandchildren at all of their sporting events and school activities. She also enjoyed golfing with friends and grandchildren and setting up the monthly dinner get-togethers with her high school friends.
Melody was preceded in death by her parents, in-laws, Robert and Harriet Woessner, and a brother, Bill Arnold.
Funeral services for Melody will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church with Pastor Charlene Thomas officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, from 5-8:00 p.m., at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin and on Saturday, from 9-10:00 a.m., at St. Paul’s Church. There will be no burial held at this time.
