Michael R. Brickner, 51, of Tiffin, passed away Monday, January 8, 2024 at St. Vincent’s Mercy Medical Center in Toledo.
Mike was born on August 25, 1972 in Tiffin, to Eugene Jr. and Judith (Brickner) Brickner.
Survivors include his father, Eugene Brickner Jr. of Tiffin, children, Brent Brickner of Tiffin, Samantha Brickner of Tiffin, Lucas Brickner of Columbus, Michaela Hass of Republic, Dakota Patterson of Columbus, two step-children, Lindsay Whited of MI, Sara Anway of Tiffin, four grandchildren, two brothers, Eugene “Buddy” Brickner III and Francis Sean Brickner both of Tiffin, three sisters, Heidi Brickner of Tiffin, Dodi Capehart of Fostoria, Elizabeth “Liz” Behm of Tiffin.
Mike worked at Ameriwood Industries and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tiffin. Mike was also a member of Tiffin Knights of Columbus and the Eagles. He was an avid Notre Dame and Cleveland Browns fan.
Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Judith Brickner.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 11, 2024 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Anthony Coci officiating. A Rosary will be recited 30 minutes before the service. Visitation for family and friends will be from 4-6 p.m., Wednesday, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin. There will be a Rosary recited on Wednesday, at 3:30 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services on Thursday, at St. Mary’s cemetery.
