Michael R. Schlitt

Michael R. Schlitt, 63, of Attica, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at his residence.

Michael was born January 14, 1960 in St. Louis, Missouri, to Edward E. Schlitt and Kathleen (Jost) Kirk.

Survivors include his mother, Kathleen Kirk of Ashland, two sons, Justin Schlitt of Dayton, Matt Schlitt of Marion, a grandson, four brothers, Daniel (Sharon) Schlitt of Ashland, Edward (Amy) Schlitt of Danville, CA, Peter Schlitt of Mansfield, Kevin (Erin) Schlitt of Phoenixville, PA and his beloved Dora “Toby” Doty of Attica, step-daughter, Caitlin (Jacob) Scarbury of Bloomville, three step-grandchildren, Lillian, Josiah and Natalee Scarbury all of Bloomville.

Michael was a retired Carpenter and an avid fan of The Ohio State Football Team and all Cleveland sports teams.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Edward Schlitt.

There will be no services held at this time for Michael. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
