Nancy M. Fisher

Nancy Mae (Metzger) Fisher, 91, of Tiffin, passed away Monday, October 20, 2025 at Good Shepherd Home in Fostoria.

Nancy was born December 14, 1933, in Lake Forest, IL, to the late Paul and Cleta Belle (Rodgers) Metzger. She married Richard “Dick” Fisher in Lake Forest, IL on May 21, 1955, and he preceded her in death on February 16, 2012.

Survivors include her children, Catherine (Joe) Margraf, Joseph Thomas Fisher, Michael (Jeanie) Fisher and Richard “Rick” (Rebecca Lemoine) Fisher Jr. all of Tiffin, eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Nancy worked at Parkhurst Dinning at Heidelberg and was involved with the Ritz Players. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she was a Eucharist Minister for the shut-ins of the church. Nancy enjoyed knitting and walking.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter, Peggy Lucius, three sisters, Pauline Blinkhorn, Dorothy Smith and Betty Jane Timm.

There will be a memorial service for Nancy held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 24, 2025 at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin. Visitation for family and friends will also be held on Friday, from 9:00 a.m., until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services on Friday, at St. Joseph cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Home, St. Joseph Catholic Church or The Ritz Theatre.
