Nancy J. Robinson, 94, of Sycamore, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2020, at the Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky.
Nancy was born on June 24, 1926, to the late William Dodge and Gladys Mae (Vance) Curlis. She married Theodore Robinson in Sycamore on June 23, 1951 and he preceded her in death on October 6, 2011.
Nancy is survived by her two children, Lea (Richard Coleman) Bland of Sycamore, Barry Vance Robinson of Sycamore, three grandchildren, Dustin Snyder, Acacia (Tyler) Hull, Hailee (Corderro) Phoenix, nine great-grandchildren, Destiny, Kenadee, Spencer, Carson, Wyatt, Reid, Eeliah, Talon, Corbin and a sister-in-law, Jeanne Curlis Sycamore.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Meric A. Curlis and James V. Curlis.
Nancy was a homemaker and a member of the Sycamore United Methodist Church. She was a 1944 graduate of Sycamore High School and later went on to graduate 1948 from Ohio Wesleyan University with a Music Major. Nancy played the Violin in the Charleston Symphony for several years and worked for the Chesapeake & Potomac Telephone as a Secretary. She was a member of the Sycamore Literary Club, the Choral Club, Alpha Tri-Sigma Sorority in Upper Sandusky and was a board member of the Mohawk Community Library for 23 years.
Graveside services for Nancy will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Friday, September 25, 2020 at the Pleasant View cemetery in Sycamore. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
