Nancy M. Tschanen

Nancy M. Tschanen 83, of Tiffin, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2020 at her residence.

Nancy was born on February 20, 1937 in Cleveland to the late William and Catherine (Reece) Hon. She married Richard Weisenburger in June of 1957 in Monroe, MI and he preceded her in death. She then married John W. Tschanen on February 8, 1974 in Bascom, and he also preceded her in death.

Nancy is survived by her sons, Craig Weisenburger and Thomas Weisenburger, step-sons, Steve (Janice) Tschanen and George (Deb) Tschanen, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, a daughter, Karen Weisenburger Claar and a daughter-in-law, Becky Weisenburger.

Nancy was a 1955 graduate of John Adams High School in Cleveland and she also attended Bowling Green University. She later went onto graduate with a business degree from Tiffin University. Nancy was a member of the Bascom United Methodist Church, Tiffin Garden Club, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, Ladies of the Tiffin Shrine Club, Eastern Stars, Tiffin Women's Club, Eagles Auxiliary and women of the Moose Lodge.

There will be a private burial held at Greenlawn cemetery. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
