Ned J. Murphy

Ned J. Murphy, 61, of Tiffin, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024 at his residence.

Ned was born October 28, 1963, in Tiffin, to the late Robert and Vernice (Martin) Murphy.

Survivors include his companion, Patricia Hess of Tiffin, brothers, Fred Murphy, Tim Murphy both of Tiffin and his twin brother, Ted Murphy of Jacksonville, FL., two sisters, Jackie Jacoby of Tiffin and Kathy Burgderfer of Ft. Myers, FL.

Ned worked at M&B Asphalt Company and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He was a 1983 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School and also earned his welding certificate from Terra Community College.

Ned was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Patrick and Michael Murphy.

Funeral services for Ned will be held at 3:30 p.m., Friday, December 13, 2024 at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin. Visitation for family and friends will also be held on Friday, from 2:00 p.m., until the time of the service at the funeral home.
