Paul A. Collins

Paul A. “Bear” Collins, 65, of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at his residence.

Bear was born in Hazard, Kentucky on September 6, 1960 to the late Paul Collins and Mildred (Tyree) Gibson.

Survivors include his brother, David Tyree of Bellevue, sisters, Trecia Collins of Tiffin, Regina (Noah Hudson) Clevinger of Port Clinton, Rhonda Parks of Kentucky, Carol Cornett of Kentucky, Kathy Gibson of Indiana, many nieces and nephews, and good friend, Raquel DeLeon of Fremont.

Bear was a skilled mechanic and could tinker with just about anything. He was known for his quick wit, jokes, and handyman abilities.

Bear was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Roger Gibson, Darell Gibson, Bradley Gibson, and sisters, Romana Gibson and Debbie Tyree.

There will be no funeral services held at this time. There will be a celebration of life held at a later date. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either the family in c/o Engle-Shook Funeral Home or the American Heart Association.
