Pearl Marie Bare, 90, of Tiffin, passed away Friday, May 17, 2024 at St. Francis Home in Tiffin.
Pearl was born on May 7, 1934 in Tiffin, to the late Robert Charles and Gertrude Anna (Wise) Morehart-Schatzinger. She married William P. Bare at Tiffin Baptist Church on January 9, 1955 and he preceded her in death in 2000.
Survivors include her children, Crystal Zoe Ryan of Tiffin, Kimberly Marie Recker of New Riegel, Emy Ruehle of New Riegel, nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandson, a brother, Carl Morehart of Greenville, OH and two sisters, Cora B. Garvin of Walnut Grove, Mississippi and Louise Essek of Fostoria.
Pearl was a crossing guard and was a member of Tiffin Eagles, Moose Lodge, DAV and VFW Auxiliary.
Pearl was preceded in her death by her parents, husband, a daughter, Cindy Parker, two brothers, Charles and Samuel Morehart, and three sisters, Nancy Shaull, Lucille Haugh and Mary Ann Dowdy.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, from 10:00 a.m., until 11:30 a.m., at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin. Burial will be held at Bethel cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
