Rae N. Coats

Rae N. Coats, 85, of Tiffin and formerly of Toledo, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at St. Francis Home in Tiffin.

Rae was born September 11, 1938, in Van Buren, Indiana, to the late Robert and Lois (Pochant) Bradford. She married Nathan L. Coats and he preceded her in death on January 28, 2023.

Survivors include her son, Tom (Danielle) Coats of Tiffin, and her daughter, Nedra Coats also of Tiffin, a brother, Michael “Mickey” Bradford of Colon, MI and a sister, Marise (Charlie) Gross of Marquette, MI.

Rae worked at Toledo Museum of Art in information services. She was involved with prayer groups, the Unitarian Church in Toledo and enjoyed gardening. Rae was a 1956 graduate of Colon High School.

Rae was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, Gaye Phillips and Vicki Burgoon.

There will be no services held at this time. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
