Raymond A. Mitchem

Raymond A. Mitchem, 52, of Tiffin, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay.

Raymond was born in Welch, West Virginia on March 28, 1968 to Roger Lee Mitchem and Carolyn (Lowe) Foster.

Raymond is survived by his mother, Carolyn Foster of Tiffin, his children, Ashley Alexander of North Carolina, Timothy Mitchem of Bassett, Virginia, Nikki Smith of Fostoria, Chris Hess of Bassett, Virginia, Melanie Smith of Tiffin, his girlfriend, Gladys Smith of Tiffin, eleven grandchildren, two brothers, Ronald Mitchem of Northfork, West Virginia, Eddie Hess of Bassett Virginia, a sister, Sherry Toland of Tiffin and many nieces and nephews.

Raymond worked at BJ Pallet Company and was a member of the Eighth Avenue Baptist Church in Tiffin. Raymond enjoyed fishing and bluegrass music.

Raymond was preceded in death by his by his father, a brother, Rick Mitchem and a sister, Sara Hess.

A memorial service for Raymond will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at the Eighth Avenue Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Dwayne Vanover officiating. Visitation for family and friends will also be on Wednesday, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at the church. There will be no burial held at this time.
