Richard C. Altwies

Richard C. Altwies, 70, of Tiffin, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Autumnwood Care Center in Tiffin.

Richard was born May 12, 1955, in Tiffin, to Charles and Leona (Shuff) Altwies.

Survivors include his mother, Leona Altwies of Tiffin, a sister, Kathy Distel of Illinois, and a brother, Timothy Altwies of Virginia.

Richard was preceded in death by his father, Charles Altwies.

Private family services were held at St. Mary Catholic cemetery. Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
