Obituary

Richard D. Clifton, 62 of Tiffin, passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at his residence.

Richard was born October 18, 1960, in Tiffin, to the late Donald R. and Lois M. (Koehler) Clifton. He married Lynette (Rogier) on July 9, 1982 and they later divorced and she survives in Tiffin.

Other survivors include his two daughters, Elizabeth Clifton of Tiffin, Renee (Anthony) O’Rourke of Powell, a granddaughter, Olivia, two step-grandchildren, Abbi and Kyle and a sister, Kimberly Clifton of Tiffin.

Richard retired from Webster Manufacturing after 42 years. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, watching OSU Football and the Cleveland Browns. Richard was a 1979 graduate of Old Fort High School and was so proud when his granddaughter, Olivia was born.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert Clifton.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 from 10:00 a.m., until noon, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin. There will be a private family graveside service held at Hueston Cemetery in Forest, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
