Robert C. Beeler, 87, of Findlay and formerly of Bloomville, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at The Willows of Tiffin.
Robert was born October 21, 1936, in Seneca County, to the late Homer and Fanny (Brill) Beeler. He married Donna (Dunlap) in Angola, Indiana on June 13, 1955 and she preceded him in death on June 27, 2021.
Survivors include his children, Jacqueline Kay (Jeff) Cleveland of Tiffin and Timothy Homer (Leslie) Beeler of Pueblo, CO, a son-in-law, Bob Podach of Fostoria, thirteen grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren.
Robert was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and was also loved by everyone who ever came in contact with him. He worked for Columbia Gas Company for 36 years and also farmed as well. He was a member of the Shriner’s, Lions Club, was involved with the Rodeo and drove a race car. Robert was a 1955 graduate of Bloomville High School.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter, Peggy Podach, grandson, Quinton Ambrose, two great-grandchildren, Reid Podach and Annalea Archuletta, two brothers, William and Ross Beeler, four sisters, Mildred Carr, Margie Fetzer, Dorothy Zeigler, Helen Stinchomb and a son-in-law, Tommy Ambrose.
Funeral services for Robert will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 12, 2024 at Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville. Visitation for family and friends will also be held on Friday, from 10:00 a.m., until the time of the services at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Hospice Care, American Heart Association or to Shriner’s Children’s Hospital.
