Robert J. Williams

Robert J. Williams, 74, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2022 at his residence.

Bob was born February 6, 1948, in Tiffin, to the late Jess and Evelyn (Aiken) Williams. He married Cherie (Sauers) on March 21, 1992 and she preceded him in death on June 3, 2016.

He is survived by his and Cherie's four children, Kelly (Tim) Williams Kennelly of Waterville, and Becky (Matt) Williams Soder of Hudson, Kim Fisher and Jeff Lonsway both of Tiffin, nine grandchildren, Abby, Jessie, Maddy, Brooke, Brandon, Kelsie, Tanner, Chelsea, Jordyn, three great-grandchildren and a brother, Jim Williams of Modesto, CA.

Bob was owner/operator of Williams Temporary Services in Tiffin. He was a City of Tiffin Zoning board member, a member of American Legion Post #169, a 1966 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School and a 1970 graduate of Heidelberg College. Bob enjoyed golfing, spending time with family and friends, and was proud to call Tiffin his home.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and a brother Dick Williams.

Bob would want everyone to remember the good times and know that he has been re-united with his best friend Cherie.

There will be a celebration of Bob's life held on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at American Legion, located at 290 South Washington St. Tiffin, Ohio from 2-5 pm. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
