Ronald Baillie Obituary

Ronald David Baillie, 83, of Tiffin passed away on the evening of Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay.

Ron was born in Sandusky, on March 28, 1941 to the late Richard and Floris (Kinsey) Baillie. He married Sandra (Wertz) Baillie in Tiffin on February 21, 1970 and she passed away on May 19, 2021.

Ron is survived by six children, Debra (Ken) Baillie-Ardner, Bonnie Schube, Pam Schube, Robert (Cheryl) Schube all of Tiffin, Kim (Dane) Feasel of Findlay, Jackie (Murry) Smith of South Dakota, sixteen grandchildren, Dakota (Kasey) Feasel of Wauseon, Nash Feasel of Findlay, Afton Poignon of Holland, Jordan Clouse of Perrysburg, Merissa Perry of Tiffin, Meranda Clouse of Carey, Jayson Schube of Findlay, Bryan (Lileigh) Schube of Tiffin, Aryon Schube of Tiffin, Christopher Pachlhofer of Delaware, Lindsey (Daniel) Kragt of Hudson, SD, Tyler (Kaity) Ardner of Fostoria, Travis (Heather) Ardner of Tiffin and Trent (Kelsey) Ardner of Tiffin, twelve great grandchildren and one on the way. Ron is also survived by a sister, Sherry Otto of Sandusky.

Ron was preceded in death by his beloved wife, parents, a son, Jeffrey L. Schube, grandson, James Anthony Poignon, II and two brothers, Richard and William Baillie.

Ron worked at Copper Tire as a Millwright and also at Hayes Albion. He was a 1959 graduate of Huron High School and was a United States Marine Veteran serving from 1960 until 1964.

A memorial Service for Ron will be held at 4:30 p.m., on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin with Military rites being rendered by the United Veterans Council. Visitation for family and friends will also be on Tuesday, from 3:00 p.m., until the time of service. There will be no burial at this time.

Memorial contributions may be made to Veterans Honor Bus, Bridge Hospice and Marblehead Lighthouse.
