Ronald A. Marker, 73, of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at Mercy Health – Tiffin Hospital.
Ron was born February 7, 1951, in Tiffin, to the late Harry Arthur and Gurtha (Ringle) Marker.
Survivors include his daughter, Robin (Brian) Barnett of Willard, a son, Bill (Becky) Marker of Porter, Texas, a brother, Gerald Marker of Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, a sister, Barbara Houck of Tiffin, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and many other family and extended family members.
Ron was an avid Michigan fan and loved fishing and spending time with his family and friends and going to the Tiffin Eagles. He enjoyed telling stories about his careers as a sand blaster, masonry worker, paint crew worker and bartender.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, the love of his life, Peg Davis and a brother Kenneth Marker.
Funeral services for Ron will be held at 3:00 p.m., January 11, 2025 at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin. Visitation for family and friends will also be held on Saturday, from 1:00 p.m., until the time of the service at the funeral home. There will be no burial held at this time.
Memorial contributions may be made to the University of Michigan or to the Tiffin Eagles.
