Rosalia Montalvo-Rosado King, 92, of Republic, passed away Friday, January 3, 2025, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo.
Rosalia was born September 21, 1932, in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, to the late Inosencia Rosado. She married Robert Glenn King in Puerto Rico on November 10, 1954 and he preceded her in death on August 2, 2021.
Rosalia is survived by her children, Rose (Bob) Shull of Republic, Kathleen Feaster of Republic, James (Andy) King of Perrysburg, Anna Jones of Toledo, grandchildren, Vanessa (Todd) Lindsay, Christopher (Jenny) Niezgoda, Ashley Lewis, Jeremy Niezgoda, Heather (Tim) Jones, Angie Taylor, Alicia Meyers, and Mark Feaster, great-grandchildren, Chance Smith, Cole (Kacie) Smith, Mara Niezgoda, Lizzy Niezgoda, Luke Niezgoda, Riley Niezgoda, Nicholas Niezgoda, DeVante Meyers, Jaelyne Niezgoda, Violet Schmenk and Lilly Schmenk.
Rosalia was a homemaker, a member of Little Church on the Hill in Republic and also Mays Chapel in Toledo. She enjoyed dancing at the Clyde VFW where she was a member for 15 years. Rosalia also enjoyed crocheting and loved to garden.
Rosalia was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two children, Ana Maria King and Robert King Jr., grandchildren, Daniel Niezgoda, Tim Niezgoda, Amanda Feaster. Rosalia was also the youngest of many brothers and sisters and was the last one living.
Funeral services for Rosalia will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 9, 2025 at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin. Visitation for family and friends will also be held on Thursday, from 10:00 a.m., until the time of the service at the funeral home. There will be no burial held at this time.
