Rosella Jane Cooley, 88, of Upper Sandusky and formerly of Bloomville, passed away Monday, July 8, 2024 at Wyandot County Home in Upper Sandusky.
Jane was born in Wyandot County, on July 28, 1935 to the late Joseph Nelson and Winona (Swartz) Karcher. She married Eugen Cooley in Bloomville and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Wilhelm of Fremont, a granddaughter, Amanda Menke of Fremont, three great-grandchildren, three brothers, Charles Karcher of Upper Sandusky, Richard Karcher of Upper Sandusky, Roger Karcher of Carey, two sisters, Ruby Karcher and Phyllis Chance both of Upper Sandusky.
Jane worked as a beautician and was the owner/operator of Kut & Kurls in Bloomville. She was a member of Bloomville United Church of Christ, Tiffin Moose Lodge and Eagles, Lady Shriners and the Red Hat Society. Jane was a graduate of Bloomville High School.
Graveside services for Jane will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Woodlawn cemetery in Bloomville. There will be no visitation held at this time. Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home in Bloomville is assisting the family with their arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bloomville United Church of Christ or to Shriners Children’s Hospital.
