Ruth Anne Booster

Ruth Anne Booster, 62, of Republic, died on Monday, June 22, 2020 at 3:56 p.m., at her residence.

Ruth was born on August 10, 1957, to the late Philip and Jeannette (Hansell) Barnhart. She married Mark D. Booster in Springfield, OH on August 22, 1981 and he survives in Republic.

Ruth is survived by her husband, Mark of Republic, a daughter, Sarah (Philip Manteuffel) Booster of Lakewood, CO, a son, David Booster of Denver, CO, a grandson, Frederick Manteuffel of Lakewood, CO, two brothers, Don Barnhart of Mansfield, John Barnhart of New York and many nieces and nephews.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, all of her aunts and uncles on both sides and a brother, Charles Barnhart.

Ruth was a former case worker for the Sandusky County Board of MRDD. She was a member of the St. Jacob's United Church of Christ in Republic. Ruth was a 1975 graduate of Jackson High School and Wittenberg University in 1980 with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Ruth had a beautiful voice who will be remembered for playing the flute and acoustic guitar. She touched the lives of many children and families throughout her working career.

There will be a memorial service for Ruth held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 664 State Road 229 South, Batesville, IN 47006. The Engle-Shook Funeral Home in Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bread for the World Fund, the ELCA - World Hunger Appeal or to Stein Hospice.
